Resumen
Our restaurant is expanding, and we've far outgrown the wretchedness that is our website now. Our new locations all are being designed with a modern, retro, chill, cool feel. We'd like our website to represent this same look and feel. Winner will be added onto the "Friends of Shabu" pages as a designer, free marketing for you!

Our first restaurant opened over 11 years ago, but now we are opening up 2 more in the next 4 months and an additional 3 in the next year. The new locations have all been designed with a very retro/modern feel, mixed in with some Japanese influence.
We're all in our early 30's and looking to expand on our lounge space, so we're looking to design our site in a much more up-to-date look and feel. Also, we are looking at local artists in our area to provide revolving artwork for our spaces.
We want a home page that we can utilize as a template and a locations page. We do not need any Flash, just an eye-catching website that is sleek but in no way gimmicky or gawdy.

is clean, but the menu is hideous and the colors are a little too Nickelodeon for us, a little too bright and cheery. We don't want depressing, but we don't want Rainbow Brite either.
Our target audience is a young, hip, artistic crowd that loves to eat and drink.

We realize we aren't giving you so many photos to work with, but you can use them as placeholders for now and we can change the images later.
