Thus, we want the logo to be semi-professional but fun and thoughtful also (without being too cutesy). We do not want a corporate or flowery literal logo - we want something modern. Bluestem is a type of strong grass common in California that reflects the coastal calm vibe of this new hotel. The hotel has bamboo, wood, greenery and light elements. It's meant to be a sanctuary from the busy suburban city it is in. The city has craft breweries, high end mall, beach and many large corporate headquarters - so it's busy!")
