Cómo JSpav comenzó su viaje en diseño de página web
We're setting up an on-line tendering system where tenderers offer work and bidders browse categories and tenders. We need a web home page and a web content page to Photoshop or Fireworks layered stage (we'll code ourselves). Looking for clean, open design.
Nombre de la empresa
¿Qué te inspira y qué diseño imaginas para tu empresa?
We leave the design to you but the colour palette must come from our logo (see at netco.co.nz/ti/logo.gif)
I guess we are looking for the sort of style similar to an auction site (although we're are not looking to mimic one too closely) but we have the following requirements:
Fixed width to sit centred on 1024 wide screen. Would prefer a small breathing space around it, not sitting hard against borders - say 975 pixels wide.
2 columns, 1 either left or right column narrow and the wide column sitting beside it. Narrow should be able to accommodate 215 pixel with breathing space.
3 columns for content page - narrow left. wide centre, narrow right. Left and right columns should each be able to accommodate 215 pixel width breathing space.
Home page gets straight down to business, offering search for tender, place a tender, sign up, as prominent features.
Text blurb, shortish, can be included. Our feeling is that this would be to the point and would link to an 'about' page rather than clutter home page with an essay.
The tenders range across all business and service types so feel free to offer imagery across the spectrum.
Specify whether imagery is copyright-free or licenced. We are not interested in paying recurring image royalties and prefer imagery from somewhere like sxc.hu/
Lo que desea
ability to slot banner ads along the top of the page.
search, logon/password text boxes
top level list of business catregories
room for skyscraper ads down left or right hand side (say, 215 pixel image/text).
Sites that have similar intentions - so our aims are clearer:
Trying to avoid the overdone heaviness of Monster Templates. Not specifically looking for Web 2.0 but do want clean and open design.
