inMotion's Twitter account aims to provide interesting and useful information about the creative review and approval process, as well as key company information and user tips, to our clients and prospect clients.
The target audience is director-level executives in marketing, communications, branding, and creative departments. This is a professional audience with an appreciation for innovative, thoughtful design.
We would prefer a background that's either tiled or fade-to-color. Needs to incorporate the company logo (attached animated and static versions) and color scheme. The logo needs to be fully visible (not obscured by main Twitter content) within the smallest common screen resolution, 1024 × 768px.
We would like to avoid incorporating any new design elements (shapes, photos, etc.) so the challenge would be filling the space with what already exists as part of the logo.
While the static logo will be the one displayed, feel free to use any or all of the colors found in the animated version.
Backgrounds we like:
- simple, cool "techy" feel, nice use of color along the sidebar
- tiled logo subtly reinforces brand, with more weight along the sidebar
Backgrounds we don't like:
twitter.com/ogilvy - gaudy color scheme, overly simple background doesn't seem very professional
twitter.com/bbdoworldwide - not bad, but simple to the point of boring
twitter.com/fastcompany - logo is obscured by main page content at most resolutions
