Re-create a modern chic logo for a church with 25yrs of history.

We are a christian church who serves the community and shares Jesus with them. Cornerstone is a place where you can plug in and feel at home. Its a place where all can find God's love through Christ in a very practical way.

We are a branch of the Christian Missionary Alliance, whose main focus is sending missionaries all over the world, so that could maybe be incorporated? We have tried attempting to turn the T in Cornerstone to a cross, but cant quite get it. Our old logo was just to dark and Gothic, and the one before that was created back in the '90s with cursive, we need modern. Our main color is a deep blue, but haven't been able to find that color online just with paint chips at Home Depot, but are willing to incorporate other colors of the blue/green/purple side?

I've added photos of us ("the pastors family"), so you can see us for us...everything we do for our church and for the others around us is kind, fun and loyal- that's what we need in a logo, not the old school black suit and tie type.

My husband is a veteran, book nerd and coffee lover. I'm (his wife) is shabby chic, artistic, retro and love anything Target ;) our kids- well...a smiling chaos.

Then I've added photos of our church stage background- the stereotypical recycled wood wall! Which even though stereotypical explains alot of our congregation- worn down, but made into something new and beautiful.

The last of the photos are just pinterest and what our church decor is going towards, alot of our building was last remodeled in the 80's so its gross- these photos are what we are working towards, with like I said a deep blue- BUT- we also love all the bold bright colors here and there (but doesn't have to be added to the logo if not possible).

Last I've added photos of our building. We own a 5 million dollar building along a SUPER busy highway, which we have re-fitted, to allow renting businesses in. We have an Urgent Care, Child Psychology and Day Care all with us. We have taken the bottom of the road sign kiosk thing...so it needs to be noticeable, bold and different. We will also eventually be putting the logo up in the front windows of the lower half of the building, so its just got to look "Sweeeeet" and "COol Dude!" If you get what I'm saying, but sometimes I make to sense at all, but anyways, thank you all for your time and hard work!

Our church is a family who takes care of each other and we want to show that Cornerstone is a place to call home.
