We are a supplier/vendor that owns several of our own factories and manufactures a wide variety of goods; but for the consumer side / marketing purposes our products largely include furniture, lighting, home appliances, bathroom furnishings, etc. We do have several in-house brands but will now be branching into 'warehouse direct' style sales as well rather than only through established retailers, and so our main company logo and branding needs to be updated for direct-to-consumer use. Also it's 17 years old and kinda needs a face lift.

The goal of this re-design is not just about rejuvenating the look. We are moving from a pure B2B model, to now using our company name as a brand name as well. We want this to look awesome and appeal to consumers, not just other businesses. We are the manufacturer who produces many of the brands you already know and love! But as you might expect, there are NDA's that cover those. Some of those brands are discontinuing for their own reasons, and retailers and customers now want the chance to buy direct from us. We want them to feel as at home and comfortable with our brand as they have with those that are heading off into the sunset.
The resulting logo should be simple enough that it can be used unobtrusively as a small metal badge and/or wood burning directly on products if needed.
