Sonshine

Sonshine produces original Broadway-style musicals that are based on Biblical stories. Full costuming, props, lighting, and sound, along with an exciting contemporary musical score help bring these Biblical texts to life. Since 1980, youth from all over Central Ohio have joined together and performed Sonshine musicals throughout Ohio and the Eastern U.S.

The purpose of this poster is to send to churches that Sonshine will be performing at before hand so that they can help advertise the show. The churches will hang these posters up around the church and in other places around their community.

I have provided professional pictures that should be the focus of the piece. I will let you select the picture you would like to use. Please touch up the picture as much as you like. Please use only one picture.

What the musical is about:

Chains was written in 1993 by Kurt Fox with music composed by his brother and Sonshine director, Mark Fox. Chains explores the early life of the Apostle Paul as told in flashback from a jail cell in Rome. Scenes include the trial of Peter and John, the stoning of Stephen, and, finally, Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus. We watch as God works in the life of this angry young man in preparation for his future ministry as an apostle. Costumes, props, lighting, and an exciting contemporary musical score help bring this ancient story to life.
