WebsiteSupporters.com is a (Dutch) website that help people make their website a great succes. Anyone can start a website, but to make a website successful is not that easy. We help our visitors with weekly advise and actionable step-by-step instructions on how to improve their website. They can subscribe to this weekly mail, act upon it and talk about it on the forums. All visitors are stimulated to work on the same theme of their website in the same week, so there will be a lot of interaction and cross-pollination.

The target audience of WebsiteSupporters.com are people that have a website that they want to make a success. Most of the will be entrepeneurs and small businesses. Most of them will not be technical. Often they make their website with content management systems. So we do not target webmasters, but the people owning the site. To be part of WebsiteSupporters.com, and get the weekly mails, is totally free.
We need several improvements to the design of WebsiteSupporters.com; especially to the promo blocks in the header. Have a look at the site to get the idea. (Maybe use Google Translate, as the site is in Dutch)
- We need a better design of the promo blocks. These blocks scroll in the header. They should contain an orange-men-icon and 2 short lines of text (few words per line). They should fit the sites overall design more than they do now. We just need you to design one or two examples. In the end we will create all promo's ourselves, based on your design.
- We need an improved design of the content of article pages. Take http://www.websitesupporters.com/poll page as the basis for your design. We think especially the design of the header (showing the photo, title and info) could be better. And maybe the reactions to articles could be improved.
For the photo in the header we have been experimenting with a soccer card instead of the photo. See attachment.
- If you like you can make design changes to the overall site design (like header and sidebar), but we do like them as they are.
