FARE.1.1 is a brand new service that delivers rate (fare) intelligence for the travel industry, in a smooth one-stop shop (a la 4.1.1 directory) experience.
FARE.1.1 is pronounced "Fare one one" (not Fare eleven). The winner will really drive this home through their design.
The brand is positioned to deliver powerful, efficient information to professional clients through website and mobile app platforms that save clients time and helps them in their decisions.
We plan to expand the brand to other verticals so we don't want the theme to be blatantly travel specific. Modern, tech-savvy, concise.
Domestic and International Travel professionals.
The logo will be used on the website and the mobile app, so it needs to be high resolution and sharp enough to look good in several sizes.
The logo must incorporate both an icon and the brand name, with an icon that could stand on it's own. We need both a logo and stand alone icon.
The logo will be used on the website, app, receipts, business cards and possibly marketing items such as t-shirts. Logo must look good on both white and black backgrounds, we'd like to see versions for both.
Fairly open on color scheme for the logo, however it needs to carry through different mediums and backgrounds so we would stick with primary colors; we're more interested in a solid design (so any colors will be given an honest review) but we gravitate to blue, black, red, white and green. Think responsible, mature web 2.0 company.
Modern, tech-savvy, concise.
No Cartoons, Gimmicks, Animals, No Dollar Signs, Nothing Travel Specific (no airplanes etc...).
