The client Is a general contractor so they do it all however the primary emphasis of the company is roofing. As they continue to grow, they are slowly transitioning from residential to commercial roofing projects. An interesting note is that he claims to be a storm chaser. They are located in the stormy south and depend highly on the home repair necessary after a severe storm.

Because their target audience is both commercial developers and individual home owners, the design needs to pleasing on both a personal and professional level. The client has given us free reign on this one. Their color scheme is currently blue and white so that's how we've designed the new website. Some ideas we had disguised were common and already used elsewhere. One idea was to draw the name of the company as a wooden frame with the with a roof overhead (a home under construction) but he really wasn't too particular. I strongly encourage you to be creative as in my research, I saw a lot of repetitive ideas in this industry. Not that that's a bad thing and I'm not saying don't do it but he did express a desire for the logo to break away from the norm as he is looking to expand his horizons beyond roofing.
