Teen Ministry Needs An Attractive New Logo

A Ministry of Laurel Baptist Church

Teen Equip is the teen ministry of Laurel Baptist Church in Charlotte. Its purpose is to equip teenagers to be passionately committed followers of Jesus. Its target audience is 6th through 12th graders.

I would really like something that incorporates light blues, teals, and grey.

I am looking for a modern but youthful logo that would somehow visually communicate the idea of equipping young people. We are "rebranding" our teen ministry and want to have something that is attractive and exciting for our teens to wear on clothing and promote on social media. I am not really interested in an overwhelmingly religious look. I would like something that symbolizes progress, maturity, and growth.

It would be nice to have the tagline, but it is not absolutely necessary if it doesn't work well with the logo itself. I have attached a file of a name tag from a recent conference I attended. I really liked the colors used (blue-teal-grey) and would like for that to be the starting point for coloring in the logo. Simple, modern, and fun would be great!

The logo should be designed in a way that wouldn't be difficult to embroider or incorporate into various promotional products. Once the new branding has been finalized, we will be opening an online store for teens to purchase branded clothing and other items. The logo should be attractive so that it is something they would proudly wear out and about.

In addition to this logo, I would be interested in discussing a 1 on 1 Project with the winner to do an alternate logo for catchphrase we like to use within this ministry.
