Un ganador ha sido elegido entre 62 diseños de 16 diseñadores freelance.
UpRising Books
UpRising Books is an upstart publisher and book promoter seeking to lead a publishing evolution of positive, grassroots change. We will bring together readers, agents, and established publishers to help the best unknown authors find their voice. We would like a logo that conveys a new dawn, being part of a movement of major change, but change created by working together to help the best new books “rise up” to the top. Think also the bringing together of old and new worlds, the sense that the future is now, and innovative, history-marking equations such as E=MC2. Logo should include both words of the business name, “UpRising Books,” but with “Books” less prominent. A unique symbol or equation might work. Or even better, think beyond all this and wow us with the logo that will establish our brand and kick off an era of rejuvenation in the publishing world!
Overall audience skews a bit to the female (@60%), primary age range 18-50, at least internet savvy enough to be drawn to a website where they can read book-related items on a regular basis, the last indicating at least middle class income.
First tier: Authors, readers - They are the primary people using the site; they must be inspired to act in support of one another and to change the current publishing model.
Second tier: Literary agents, traditional publishers - Seeing the value that authors and readers gain from our site, they should be encouraged to join the movement. Success with our publishing model is not exclusive and independent, but inclusive and interdependent.
Logo will be used initially on our website, so it needs to set the colors, tone of voice, and life hum of our brand. Subsequently, it will BE UpRising Books wherever it is seen, so we want a logo that stands alone, speaks indirectly of a gentle revolution--but one which will not wait, and one which conveys positivity, cooperative change and non-aggression--and serves as the basis for developing our tag line and the rest of our branding and marketing materials.
