Open Innovation Accelerator
The Open Innovation Accelerator is a 2 day immersive training programme that is a collaboration between http://www.100open.com (based in London, UK) and http://www.wecreate.cc (based in California, USA).
100%Open is an open innovation agency spun out of NESTA, the UK’s National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts. SuccessSince 2006 we have partnered many of the world’s most successful innovation companies. Our open innovation programmes have created value for Procter & Gamble, Oracle, Virgin Atlantic, Tesco, Orange, Discovery Channel, Shop Direct, Cancer Research UK, McLaren, NATS, Pfizer and BT. We offer the bespoke services of strategic planning, programme design and delivery, training and venturing. We combine business acumen with extensive hands-on experience of implementing successful open innovation, together with a yen for connecting brands with new people and fresh opportunities.
Wecreate helps teams build more innovative, creative, ethical and entrepreneurial mindsets for good - through training programs and peer-led toolkits; and we consult across the world on social innovation and sustainable leadership projects. Our mission is to make the tools and techniques for leadership, collaboration and innovation available to as many people as possible so that individuals, communities and organisations of all shapes and sizes can come together to co-create change.
Our target audience are pioneers from large & small companies, public sector departments & non-profit organisations with an interest in or responsibility for new ideas, fresh ways of doing things and collaborative innovations in product, service or business model.
For more information about the first open innovation accelerator including a 5 minute video please see http://openinnovationaccelerator.eventbrite.com. We first ran the programme in Sept 2010 and it was very well received.
We want a standalone visual identity that fits with both the existing 100%Open and wecreate identities.
The accelerator is a transformative programme to help people embrace new ways of innovating through collaboration, crowdsourcing and co-creation. The particular focus of the programme is about sharing tools and techniques around innovation processes combined with in depth insight into collaboration mindsets.
The programme is largely developed and delivered through peer-to-peer coaching and discussion. The first accelerator programme was very well received by delegates who on average scored it 9.5 out of 10.
We are looking for a highly creative logo that will underpin a new website and materials.
We are already due to run the accelerator in London and Nairobi in Feb 2011 and are looking to roll out the programme globally later next year. It is important to us to 'practice what we preach' and so we are keen to use 99designs to crowdsource a brilliant logo as it will form a key part of the story behind the programme.
