Off the Cuff (tagline: A presentation tool for smart people)
Off the Cuff is an iPad application that allows business people to deliver visual presentations in an impromptu, non-linear fashion. Unlike the typical PowerPoint slide presentation that moves in a set sequence from one slide to the next, Off the Cuff allows the presenter to improvise their presentation and display any visual that they choose at any point in the presentation. Like a great jazz pianist, an Off the Cuff presenter can give his own rendition of a presentation, specifically tailored to the audience.

Thank you so much for everything, your by far the most helpful CH, given that you don't over look anyone's efforts and find something positive in every design. At the time you have a clear vision of what you want and don't want. ~CMOLINA
Your contest is a very exciting. Not every day we (designers) see a very nice and respectful CH. Good luck for you and your contest. ~zephcrazy
We believe in a collaborative approach and promise the following:
1. We will be monitoring and updating the contest at a minimum of 2 times per day.
2. We will provide useful feedback on every entry that is submitted.
3. We will work with you to refine your design and answer all questions promptly.
4. We will pick a winner within 24 hours of the end of the contest.
Our target is professional speakers, sales people and other business professionals whose jobs require making visual presentations to an audience, whether that audience is an individual or a large crowd.
We need a logo as well as a 72x72px application icon in PNG format representing the product.
We do not have strong opinions about design, logotype, graphics, or color scheme yet. So it is a good opportunity to indulge your creativity. Our basic requirements are that it be clean, fresh, and not too formal. We don’t want your standard boring business logo. It should convey flexibility of the product and the creativity and spontenaity of the user. Some ideas that you may play with include incorporating a presentation slide or maybe a shirt cuff. Do NOT use grey or black backgrounds in the color scheme.
The icon should be a variation on the logo graphic. It must look eye-catching and appealing on a users home screen. No white, black or translucent backgrounds. For the purpose of the contest you can include the standard iPhone/iPad look and feel (i.e rounded corners, drop shadow and reflective shine). But for final delivery it must have 90-degree corners, no shine or gloss, and no alpha transparency. We will also need a 48x48 version for the App store.
This is not a requirement. But it would be helpful to include a comment with each of your entries that explains your thoughts or reasons for choosing the design elements that you did. If you just want to submit the design that is fine too.
