Marketing Training Institute : Standards * Education * Certification
This institution will establish testing standards and administer certifications for eMarketing in SEO, Web Analytics, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Landing Page Conversion and other disciplines relevant to online marketing. Our online courses are taught by bestselling authors in each marketing discipline and the training videos are updated monthly. So we present *current* and *authoritative*
The target audience for this institution will be rightfully skeptical and looking for validations that the institution is modern, endorsed, and legitimate.
Our market is saturated by fly-by-night, get rich quick video courses. Our market also is littered with one-shot web sites with outdated training material.
Our customers are corporate marketing managers, national brand managers, educators, university faculty and the US government.
They will be looking for credibility (we've got it) and the logo must convey this.
Our vision is to use a logo that conveys "online learning" at a glance.
Logo will be used on printed (and online) certificates. Thus it must look good on a white background.
Logo must contain a graphic element that can stand alone as a tiny square bookmark .ico image. We prefer this element appears to the left of the institution name and tagline.
Logo must contain the institution name "Marketing Training Institute"
We are not ready to use an acronym, so "MTI" should not be used or assumed.
We prefer to have a tag line "Standards - Education - Certification" associated with the company name.
The attached logo "AnotherCompanysLogo" inspired us and could meet these requirements, but is already in use by another company. Thus any design must be differ enough to be visibly unique, but can still retain some of the basic elements.
We like the basic "Web 2.0" color use of a few simple colors. We like the simple thicker color line art.
IMPORTANT: We liked the images representing *people learning in front of a wide-view screen*.
IMPORTANT: At a glance, the viewer realizes that people are watching a screen (learning online).
Perhaps a triangle of people watching?
We liked the absence of 3D or complex images that wouldn't transfer well to other backgrounds.
And we like the layout that allows the imagery to separate from the name.
We've also attached an image as a "logo_concept" Using what we like about the attached image as a basis is a good thing. But it must be modified enough to be visually unique from this existing logo.
