Family owned & operated business in the school portrait industry. The school portrait industry photographs children from ages 5-18. (kindergarten thru high school) Typical business models utilize professional photographers to handle picture day and an extensive post process to produce the finished product for Mom & Dad. Significant portions of picture day sales are donated back to school making for one of largest fund raising opportunity a school has. Our company has always provided cutting edge products and solutions to the schools and our end consumer (Mom & Dad). We have leveraged web presence, online ecommerce and multiple marketing techniques to position our company as a leader in this industry. Our new extension called Mypicturepartner.com will allow us to rapidly expand into territories we currently do not service. You must keep in mind that this new model uses picture day volunteers found at the school to take the pictures! The benefit to the school is a siginificantly larger portion of sales back to the school.

This new model is considered extremely disruptive to the marketplace. While we will use traditional methods to make picture day possible it is the volunteers found at each school who will actually take this campaign successful. We will partner with the school to help train and market picture day to the parents. We will need to instill confidence in the volunteers who will be taking the pictures.
Our typical volunteer is a stay at home Mom who is highly involved at their childs school. They love to be behind a camera and have the will to make a big difference in their school. They view our company as an opportunity to provide a great service to their community all the while making money for the school.
No constraints on the design. Keep in mind that our typical customer will be a Mom ages 30-45. Our partnership with them is extremely important. They need us to hold their hand thru the entire process from planning picture day to actually taking the portraits. The company needs to appeal to this demographic more than others - but not be too feminine.
