Tom's first introduction into spiritual studies was through his father, an avid meditation and tai chi practitioner, reiki healer and spiritual seeker. Tom's philosophy is "We are all capable of being more fully alive and aware human beings if we are wholeheartedly open and willing." Tom teaches public classes at Maha Yoga in Brentwood, manages an extensive private practice and leads retreats worldwide. He has been a professional massage therapist and energy healer for over 20 years. You can watch Tom on the nationally syndicated network show Exercise T.V.
We market to people who are generally already health oriented but Not necessarily yoga oriented. Our main market tends to be working professionals 25 -45 with some basic yoga practice.
The mission of TomsRetreats.com is to provide people looking for more than just a typical vacation with health, well being and community.
Choosing exotic and beautiful locations that both stimulate and excite the senses and at the same time deeply relax and rejuvenate one self.
Our clients want more than just a mindless vacation these days. We offer a more creative and constructive approach using yoga, meditation, and lots of fun activities and group outings.
We think what people do want from a vacation is to achieve greater levels in health and fitness, expand themselves spiritually, learn new things to expand their mental capacity and also connect with fellow travelers.
In a nut shell we are combining high end luxury destinations with yoga, meditation, health, well being, and totally enjoy the pleasure and freedom that travel and leisure provide.
I want the logo to be fun, edgy, hip, .. expressing more adventure/vacation/paradise with a hint of yoga. But I don't want it to be overly "yoga-ish" - if that makes sense.
