Yes, I want the slogan “Local Homemade Goodness” incorporated into the logo but I am not sold on the idea of a slogan though so if there is anyway to incorporate the slogan into some mock ups but not all of them that would be great!

Lynnie’s is an all natural, organic, local frosting company. We specialize in making frosting that not only tastes homemade good but uses a minimal amount of ingredients sourced from local farmers and companies delivering only the best organic and all natural products/ingredients. We never include preservatives, artificial ingredients or additives in our frosting. You can trust every ingredient in our homemade frosting! Our frosting is “ready-to-spread” or “ready-to-frost” meaning it comes in the traditional “tub” packaging as well as disposable frosting bags, respectively. We are going to start local - in Austin, TX and then build our way up and out from there - but we will continue to source our ingredients locally. The target audience is anyone and everyone who likes frosting and is conscientious about the ingredients used in their favorite products. However, some preliminary research shows that our best audience would be busy mom’s 25-44 years old. People bake at home and buy frosting the most when they have more than one child in the house. It is our educated opinion that families with a higher income ($150k+) will be our best customers. These customers frequently visit locations like Whole Foods because they are trying to find higher quality products and food for themselves and their families. We see our primary target audience as the typical Whole Foods customer. These customers will pay a premium for food that is humanely raised, eco-friendly, organic, and “trendy.” Nevertheless, our product will match the convenience of traditional frosting because it is ready-to-spread so any busy baker young or old, single or married, are our target.

For the example logos - here are some thoughts to go along with those.. Woman -Some e-cards – the caricatures remind you of a typical 60’s family. This is the feel we are going for but I prefer the characters to be more cartoonish and simpler (less lines in the drawings but more color) “Cake Baby” logo – this is more the feel – the vibe should be a 60’s mom but I think a mom with more modern outfit on and apron on would be better for our target audience. Trailer “Eat” – I like the feel of this drawing – it’s simple but still kind of cartoon-ish. Food Diagram – Just some examples of how food is drawn – The woman could be holding a cupcake or frosting a cake in our logo. Or maybe she’s got a mixing bowl. "Lynnie" - this is my mom - just so you can see what she looks like. I want the design to be simple and clean – I’d like the logo to have a woman in it – who resembles Lynnie – doing something resembling baking in the kitchen – whether that’s frosting a cake, mixing some batter. “Lynnie’s” is named after my mom. I ‘d love the woman in the photo to slightly resemble her, even if that just means light brown hair and blue eyes. I’m not married to that idea though so if you are inspired by something else, I’m open I’d love it to feel more natural than maybe your typical cupcake designs (frilly, pink, ruffles, fancy, ultra-feminine – I don’t want to be at that extreme). My packaging will be eco-friendly and green so I want to appeal to that crowd. My frosting is all natural, organic, and local – and the frosting should taste and look like it was made in “Lynnie’s” kitchen so that it tastes like local, homemade goodness.
