Scalify

We're a new start-up technology company in the online games industry. Our product helps game developers build bigger and better games. The technology in our product was originally developed at a research lab, and dramatically lowers the cost of hosting online games and enables the games to grow very quickly.

We sell our product to companies that develop and publish multiplayer online games (MMOs) and virtual worlds. The individual customers within these companies are generally executives that are responsible for operations and technology functions and decisions (usually male, aged 30-45).

Our product enables a rapid increase the number of people playing an online game (known as scalability, hence the name Scalify). We’d like to incorporate the theme of a spider-web into the logo, as this conveys how the product works (connecting lots of players together in a web). Ideally, the logo should convey a rapid increase in the size of the web. We'd prefer something clean and stylised, rather than too cluttered.

The games industry is very creative, so there is scope to do something interesting that captures people’s interest. However, our product is an important part of the technology infrastructure and need to be dependable, so the logo should not be too radical.

We want to use the same logo for our product, the Badumna Network Suite, so the Scalify name should not be integrated into the actual logo (ie. it should sit alongside an icon). We would like the text for ‘Scalify’ and ‘Badumna Network Suite’ to be shown on separate versions of the logo.

Three colour maximum (two colour preferred). Please don’t incorporate any clipart, stock imagery, licensed fonts.
