I have included a temporary logo that I am using at the moment until I get the finished logo. I am using the nexa light font. I think the font looks good but I am not fixated on it so it can be changed if there is something better out there. You could also use it as a base from where to start from. I want the brand to have a quality feel about it. Nice simple clean design.
The brand is called Pudding Head (its what my Grand father used to call me) which is not a serious name but I don't want the logo looking so jokey that it cheapens the brand. Having said that it can be a bit whimsical.
The logo will be used on all sorts of things including branding photographs and so it must work in black and white and look ok when reduced in size. It should also be suitable for placing in rectangular and square placement holders.
I was toying with introducing a character into the brand, "Mr Pudding Head", but this is just an idea at the moment. Might work, might not. If you wanted to go down that route then you would probable only need to include the head and not an entire character. You could also allude to a character with an outline or something similar.
The logo should look equally at home on a child's t-shirt or in a design magazine.
I am trying to create a brand identity and not just a logo so if you could think in terms of overall colour schemes and design elements that would be a bonus. No shapes of cameras please. I want this to look original and unique and not like every other photographers logo out there.
