EPIC is a "gap-year" program for high school graduates and college students, just over 11 months in length. The EPIC experience includes travel within the United States and around the world. Participants will enjoy a mixture of new cultures and languages while doing Christian-based mission and outreach service. EPIC also includes hands-on training, classroom-style course work, and outdoor adventuring.
EPIC is an acronym for "Every Person Is Called". However, we don't intend to include the full text of the acronym in the logo. The logo will only include the word "EPIC".
The logo design should be created to appeal to a younger demographic (high school and college students), while not excluding an older age group that we hope to include at a later time.
Regarding the visual design, we are open to options ranging from a more literal depiction of travel, adventure, or mission/evangelism, to something more abstract, but not generic. We want something that looks original and matches the feel of our program. We would like a design that has a little artistic flair, but not highly detailed like an illustration.
