The organisation is a governing body that promotes spiritual development and helping humankind find their way back to LOVE. It does this by developing centres (ashrams) for devotion, service, learning and spiritual practices around the globe. The essence of the group is to promote Love and finding the path back to Love through grounded teachings and multi faith practices. It is a multi faith group that is inclusive not exclusive and both gender and caste neutral. The powerful spiritual images of the Lion/s, Lotus and OM symbol is important and whilst the name which means (Beloved Divine Mother) is a Sanskrit name the group is not affiliated with one religion only. The target market is from teenagers (14+) to (50). The brand must be serious yet attainable and easy to recognise. Applications for logo are to be for website, letterheads, cards and on buildings such as Ashrams, Schools and meditation centres. Strong emphasis is on the feminine principle and Divine femanine e.g. Mother Nature. Core values are Truth, Righteousness, Love, Peace and Non Violence

Currently most organizations in all areas of human endeavor e.g.. business, religious/ spiritual, non-profit are suffering to one degree or another from the ill effects of the distorted masculine psyche. This distortion manifests as the need to rule, dominate, control manipulate, overwhelm in order to defend a perceived territory or for the acquisition of power or resources or territory (e.g job promotion in the corporate world) often usually driven from a primal need to defend ones territory
In much the same way a young strong male lion will usurp a pride by battling with the current alpha male.
Our organization has as its mission to infuse the divine feminine principle into all areas of human culture so as to bring balance to the above distortion. To symbolize this we would like to use a recognizable human figure of an archetypal Goddess sitting on a lion. Although the mission is essentially spiritual in nature there needs to be an inclusiveness and the symbology used needs to have as few negative connotations to the general populace across all cutures
We are considering two versions of the same logo.
1. An ornate beautiful and inspiring for certain in-house applications
2. A simplified more linear version that would stylize the the former design maintaining its attributes yet be simple and cost effective to use on stationary etc. black and white or two tone.
We are considering the symbol of trident since it has cross cultural symbology of power (Neptune,Shiva)
