Some logo elements:
Possibly looking for a book or open book in the logo.
Possibly also a black city skyline (depicted by single line) preferably SF either on the page or around the book.
Possibly a magnifying glass (the client is not a fan of the magnifying glass but see what you can come up with)
Possibly related to urban legends/myths in the graphic.
All possibilities are not requirements, just thoughts. Original ideas are welcome!
Ideally only 3 or less visual elements total, we don't want the logo to be too busy or unnecessarily complicated.
Colors: Any combination of Black, Dark Brown, Gold, White. Going for a Sepia Photo finish feel. An added splash/slash of color to bring it up to date.
Text should be warm and antique but with modern and clean text like Arial or Helvetica.
The winning logo design will:

- adapt well to different platforms such as blog header, Twitter/Facebook profile, ebook/whitepaper covers
- not include any elements such as commercial fonts or imagery that will cost additional money
The winning logo must be available as a layered Adobe Illustrator file.
