The idea behind the name 'knowdiddly' is best summed up by the Socrates quote and the subsequent slogan "True wisdom is in knowing you know nothing" - "knowdiddly" - "wise up".
I have created a logo and letter form for the 'know' portion of the logo. I am very happy with the logo form (but not the colours), as this identifies with the fact that within knowDiddly you can connect to many different types of sources of information. The letter form of the word 'know' is an SVG that I created some months ago to best represent the idea I had in my head as I was unable to find a font which exactly matched this idea. I'm not married to this idea, and looking at it now, feel the 'O' is a little too perfectly round, but I know that if I modify it, it's going to upset the look of the 'W' and this will be too much work for me right now.
So the brief is to create a letterform for the word knowdiddly where this is a single word representing the application but which also represents the 'know' meaning knowledge and 'diddly' meaning 'nothing' but which also represents the idea that the customer is wise enough to know they know nothing if that makes sense.
The logo can combine the 'Wise Up!' slogan but must stand alone without.
The logo must be one continuous word and appear all on one line, however it can be different colours and fonts for the individual word portions.
The logo must work well on any background (dark/light/etc.).
I prefer simple to overly complex, but am happy to see what you can come up with.
I'm really excited to be working with you on this, use your imagination and come up with something which wow both me and my customers.
