i am a french 30 years old woman, born in France, leaving now in Canada. i always love fashion jewelry and after several years in the restaurant business industry, i decided to go for my dream life: creating and owning my own fashion jewelry brand!
my jewelry uses only semi precious stones and fresh water pearls, no plastic or cheap beads. the designs are bold and different...they are all about being a woman, and being proud of it!! (took me a long time for myself)
i am not an artisan, i want easy to wear, noticeable but elegant fashion jewelry.
I travel the world to source the supplies, and when i fall in love with local artisans or jewelers i buy some of their products to sale them in canada.
my business is split in 2: my own , beblue branded creations, and the importations from my travels.
in order to support woman personal and economical development in India, i buy some jewelry pieces from ngo in india, which finances local workshops of jewelry for woman in need to learn a way to become independent.
i distribute my products different ways, i don't have an physical shop so i organize private at home or office jewelry parties, i have exhibitions at home and my website with ecommerce will be online soon. i am planning to use the web a lot to sell. beblue is being sold in 2 stores in montreal, quebec and i am attending the montreal gift show in august 2010 as a wholesaler.
my target audience is 25 to 55 years old woman. working street women or at home with a good family income.
woman who like to be unique, different, those who like to have found a piece of jewelry that you cannot find anywhere, refined but not too complicated! it's not a piece of art, it's a necklace or a bracelet that make you feel confident! that make you feel bold!
this woman will shop on the web or in middle end fashion stores.
i need a logo (or an icon that will represent the actual beblue brand. a logo that i could reproduce as a jewelry pendant (or charm) that i could incorporate in my jewelry designs (example, the tiffany's heart has become the recognizable icon of tiffany's jewelry). http://www.tiffany.ca
it needs to fit with my beblue logo (not a real logo yet, but more of a typage) see http://www.beblueimports.com or attached file.
it is not to my personal taste but it is a perfect example. this website http://www.creationsmagnolia.com/bo…celet.html (they used the logo to make it into a charm)
it need to be simple, to look clean at a smaller scale in order to mold it the size of a charm or even a clasp. feminine but bold and different, not girly!
i would like to see if the letter "b" could be designed in a modern, bold way.
the letter don't have to actually be recognizable , you can play with it. nothing traditional please.
i am open to other proposition and i will give as precise feedback as possible, when i see something, i know exactly if i like it or what i don't like.
The files i will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
