I am Jewellery Designer who makes handmade silver and gold jewellery. My target market is primarily female from 25-60 years of age, who appreciate quality handmade jewellery and who are drawn to express a sophisticated, bold, elegance.
My work is very nature inspired, yet unique as I enjoy exploring the depths of my imagination and make dream like pieces with different animal motifs. My designs are energized by details, yet are symmetrical and balanced.
Symbols and Icons that I personally enjoy-
Birds: Heron, Kingfisher, hummingbirds, peacocks
(birds of paradise and bower birds- which are a greater challenge to symbolize)
Organic Shapes- garden floral and fauna
Graceful animals- in a gentle, alluring pose
Waterfall- represents to me- fluidity, power, inspiration and awe
Zen gardens- tranquility, longevity, style: bonsai tree, placement of elements
Four Elements- all go into the creation of jewellery pieces
Silveress - Combination of Silver and Essence
Could be a silver empress, silver goddess… I make a lot of earrings…
Elegant in appearance, a serif font please. Or cursive/handwritten as long as it is still clearly readable. Open to combination and play of scale and type of individual letters to create emphasis.
I do appreciate the boldness of the fonts submitted- If the icon is detailed then the font might have a clearer look- but if its just the word, please spend time with the font.
-Emphasis on nature elements, Organic in shape and form, yet bold and classy
I do work with facetted stones, but the emphasis is on the metal, the shape, form, idea and the gems are a part of the whole.
The icon of a diamond, yes grabs the attention of clients, it says expensive and can totally be a part of the logo, I am hoping for a more creative take on an animal element as the highlight and then a stone can be included as a piece in the whole.
For the reasons of branding- a bird, I think would link connection to jewellery, as birds are expressive, with gem coloured feathers and as icons portray qualities of romance and sophistication of style.
-Heron would be a nice icon, naturally silver, they can be still, timeless, graceful like a crane, focused- fishing for a faceted stone in the water?
-A hummingbird- small, playful, exotic, full of expression and liveliness
-Kingfisher- regal, patient, keen eye for detail
I have a large imagination and within my designs I love to incorporate small subtle details. I would like a logo to reflect these hidden gems. Ideas that are sophisticated and give pause to the observer.
I am seeking a logo that is dynamic in the play of layering ideas. I’m not limited to a bird motif; this logo can be a combination of icons, a leaf, flower, gem, bird, waterfall, I would just like to convey the elegance of nature elements.
My intention is to create elegant jewellery for my clients that generate optimistic feelings of inspiration and illustrate a story.
Please have fun playing with these ideas of imagery I am keen to be the witness of your creative license and I look forward to working with you
