My current logo uses the words of the business name for the design. I am looking to replace this with an iconic logo that works WITH the words, but can also stand alone. Examples . . . Comcast / NBC, whitingclinic.com, McDonalds, Domino's Pizza, etc. Simple, bold design that looks good in color, grey scale and reverse white / opacity on dark background.
My website still contains my OLD logo (http://www.corecomputerconsulting.com). I am attaching my current logo. I do like the graphic, but am willing to see it changed. I have never really liked the fonts, etc. used.
IMPORTANT! I'd like to be able to use the logo (especially the text) in conjunction with individual services (i.e., core consulting, core online, core design, etc.) To this end, the logo should contain the word "core" but does not have to be "core computer consulting". That's a very long name and makes for a complicated logo.
I had used "apple to the core" in previous logos but since that is no longer the only focus of the business, I don't need it used going forward. It reduces the flexibility of the logo and has confused people about what the actual business name is.
I have asked 99designs to make this contest "blind" and to extend the qualifying round by 2 days in an effort to get more "original" designs submitted.
