The background of the 3Points name comes from two sources:
- A personal sports angle. Our founder is a Duke basketball fan - thus "3Points" as in basketball. The sports angle should not be used, however using Duke blue (PMS287) as a predominant color could be nice.
- The second angle is a business one - i.e. that in a world of complexity, we provide our clients with solutions and clarity by boiling issues down to the 3 most important points. We'd like you to use the idea of "3 points" (be it bullet points, triangles, whatever you can think of) to inspire visual design, identity or iconography.
Our brand is "3Points". However as a startup, we want prospective clients to know what we do when they see our logo. Thus the words "Marketing", "Strategy" and "Consulting" (in that order) should be part of the logo design, in a smaller supporting fashion compared to "3Points". One idea we had was to creatively use these three words into whatever iconography is created to represent "3Points" per the point above. Our website will be at http://www.3pointsmarketing.com, and that is why of the 3 supporting words, "Marketing" should be first, closest or perhaps even connected to "3Points".
