We are launching a restaurant and activity review website and blog targeting families with young children (under 10 years old). The goal is
to provide parents who are going out with information regarding different venues (restaurants, parks, theaters, etc.) information about such venue before they go.
The name of the site originated when I was looking for places where I could be comfortable breastfeeding my new-born, and has evolved, as he has grown-up, to focus on other family oriented activities, particularly eating at restaurants.
A majority of the REVIEW content will be related to restaurant experiences: Does it have changing table, kids menu, high chairs, stroller accessibility, crayons , etc. The 2nd focus of the review site will be on shops, theaters, malls, stores, zoos, and other venues. At launch 90-80 % of the content will be restaurant focused. The site will review all restaurant types, and will provide suggestions about where to go that is family friendly.
The BLOG will contain other content related to our target audience, including parenting tips, reviews of products (books, strollers, etc.), parenting commentary, etc.
The site will be a marriage between Bitches Who Brunch (http://bitcheswhobrunch.com/) and Mommy Poppins (https://mommypoppins.com).
Our target audience is families with children under 10 years old. We want our brand to lean towards a female appeal (because going out decisions are typically made by moms), and the luxury, brand shopper.
