Create a new logo for a software developer's universe!

SCM-Manager Universe

Our virtual appliance SCM-Manager Universe is a Linux based virtual machine, which comes with a bundle of ready to use open source software components. It has a comprehensive documentation, including tutorials, a sample project and tool descriptions. All of the software development tools authenticate against a central LDAP server with reasonable default users and groups configuration. The appliance has also a simple backup mechanism, which allows regular backups of all relevant files.

The target audience are startups and small companies, which are developing software. Within companies we address software developers and administrators. Our software is used by companies and organizations worldwide.

Our original offering (which is represented by the actual logo) was support for the open source solution "SCM-Manager" (http://www.scm-manager.org). Now we do a shift of our main focus in the direction of our virtual appliance "SCM-Manager Universe". The logo change should reflect this new orientation. Have a look at the website http://www.scm-manager.com. The logo will be present there and so the logo has to fit to the design of this website.
