We are an independent, full-service 280-room hotel located in downtown Toronto. The entire property was recently renovated, and we are in the process of rebranding the hotel.
We're not targeting a specific traveller. We are looking to attract both leisure and corporate business travellers who want to stay in a clean, modern, trendy hotel.
We are looking for a logo for our newly renovated hotel. We would like something clean, simple and elegant to fit with the look of the new hotel. See the attached pictures to get a sense of our new look - see especially the conceptuals for the exterior ("bondplace-facade") and the website to get a sense of what we're looking for.
The logo should incorporate some (but not all) of our new hotel colours: Turqoise, Espresso Brown, White, and Black (Red is also used in the hotel as an accent colour).
Any typography should be clear and simple. We like the style of font used in the nav menu of our concept website (see attached), but are open to ideas. No serif, handwriting, cursive, or grunge fonts; we also want to stay away from the kind of rounded fonts used in our current logo (see bondplace.ca for the current logo).
LOGOS WE LIKE/DON'T LIKE:
We like all of the logos used by the Starwood hotels (starwoodhotels.com), especially those for used for the Element and Aloft. We like the simplicity and elegance found in most of the work featured on lovelypackage.com.
We don't like the logos, fonts, or styles used for the Radisson or the Holiday Inn. We're also not looking for something that conveys luxury as explicitly as the Ritz-Carlton logo does (for example).
We require the logo in eps format.
Do not use any clipart or stock images.
