This is a restaurant chain called Jinja Bar & Bistro... curently 3 locations in Santa Fe & Albuquerque, NM. Owned and operated by the former CEO of a very popular franchise restaurant. We serve food from 6 countries. Heres a list, in no particular order of importance of image being portrayed:
Asian / Oriental
Tropical -- Hawaii
A total dining experience.
Minimalistic. Colors are light, pastel, faded... reds, greens, oranges, blues, yellows.
Bib & Bold. Simple & Unique.
When I think of the Chili's Restaurant Logo, the CONCEPT is there. We have a solid Jinja font we would like to keep. You can view it at http://www.jinjabarbistro.com
THIS GIG is for a way to INTEGRATE a solid logo into the existing Jinja Text. It can just say "Jinja" without the Bar & Bistro but im also leaving this open ended to designer... It needs to be an image, recognizable anywhere. When you see the M for mcdonalds, or the Cracker Barrel sign, or the Chili's pepper... you know what it is without seeing the words. This is what we want! This will be a national franchise chain... and thus a wonderful opportunity for a good graphic designer to get on board.
An example we used to display this... travel, tropical, paradise, asian fusion was a Steamliner on its way to the Pacific. But, this is not a boundary -- were leaving it open to all of you geniuses!
Attached are photos of the restaurant to give you a feel for it as well as the menu concept. Let me know if you need anything... it is possible, but a little hard to get the PSD of the Jinja font logo, do best to use it right off the site.
See the plane? The idea was to display the "travel" concept. This is definitely important to the owner. Travel... not necessarily the plane.
