Gateway CFO Solutions
Gateway CFO Solutions, LLC is a B2B service provider based in St. Louis, MO. We offer CFO (Chief Financial Officer) services to small businesses. Our clients range from startups to $20,000,000 in annual revenue, and are in construction, manufacturing, ecommerce, real estate, retail, payment processing, and others. We help small businesses that need the expertise and tools that a CFO can bring to their business, but do not need the very high cost of a full-time senior finance employee. This expertise and service usually includes cash management, finance and accounting oversight, budgeting, process improvement, financial planning and advisory services, cost analysis and reductions, banking relationship management, assistance with financing projects, and IT development.
(GatewayCFO.com is our current website that we will be redesigning once the logo project is completed.)
Our current target market is business owners in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area with annual revenues at or below $20,000,000. We do very well within manufacturing and construction, although these are not the only industries we serve. We intend to expand our demographic reach and as such do not want to promote our St. Louis presence too heavily. (Thus, do not include any graphics of the St. Louis Arch.)
Our company name serves two purposes. Locally, “Gateway” is seen as an identification with St. Louis and that our business does work on a local basis. Nationally, we want “Gateway” to be perceived along the lines of the definition of the word meaning “something that serves as an entrance or a means of access: a gateway to success.” So, please do not use anything that represents an arch or the St. Louis Arch in the logo.
The logo should embody the concept that our solutions are the “gateway” to business value, peace of mind, and profitability. We don’t want the logo to look cartoonish, and do not want any dollar signs in the graphics. The logo should imbue a sense of strength, stability, and forward momentum, with a hint of conservativeness. As for colors, we would like blue to be the predominant color and would invite you to be creative with additional complimentary color(s). And of course, the logo needs to be very professional looking. That said, we are not interested in a typical accounting or CPA firm logo, which are almost always boring and stagnant.
Thanks very much for reviewing our contest, and we look forward to seeing your designs and providing prompt feedback!
