here is my website: http://www.amandahibbert.com
I am looking to get into photojournalism, architecture, commercial photography, advertising photography, editorial, lifestyle and product. I am not super girly and I don't want my branding to be extremely feminine. NO PINKS or PURPLES or PASTELS. I am partial to monochromatic designs, but not a must, an accent color could be nice like red, something bold. Of course I want something interesting and modern with great composition but it should be able to look great in 10 years and not identifiable as to when it was designed. If the initials "AHP" or "Amanda Hibbert Photography" can be incorporated (with capitalization of your choice and a sleek type face ) that would be great, but not a must. If using AHP perhaps that could form it's own design. I don't like the words photo, studio or images, either state photography or not use it. If it is something abstract reminiscent of a camera that would be interesting but not a must. I don't want anything that looks like clip art, and a unique typeface would be interesting as well. Minimalist, clean, abstract, beautiful, simple, elegant, modern. These are the words that come to mind and please feel free to be out of the box, I'm looking for anything interesting that grabs attention but isn't inappropriate.
FYI: I also intend to use the logo on a letterpress business card eventually. I don't know if that needs to be considered, but from a branding standpoint I like the idea of different textile materials, not incredibly sleek and fashionista like, but down to earth and honest. Think National Geographic ideals with a commercial/advertising spin.
