New modern and stylish app icon(s) wanted for Pixum!

Pixum

We are the specialist for high-quality photo products such as the Pixum Photo Book, postcards, photo calendars, wall art and greetings cards that our customers can personalise with their own pictures. Our headquarters are situated in Germany/Cologne and Germany is our largest market. But we also produce and sell our products in the biggest European countries.

Our products are certainly not among the cheapest on the market - that's why our core audience has an above average income level and is to 60% female. HOWEVER, and this is very important for the design of the app icon, we want to reach out to new audiences, primarily to Millenials (age 18-40).

They are rather dull and heavily dominated by our cyan brand colour. Our flagship product is the PHOTO BOOK, that's why, despite the name of our most important app being "Pixum Photoworld app" and offering multiple photo products, we currently try to depict a photo book on the logo.

That's not a requirement for the new logo though - you can be very creative and you don't need to stay in line with the existing app logos.

Ideally, you present to us different logo ideas:

a) fotorealistic (CEWE, a competitor, uses a logo like that, of a photo or a photo book)
b) comic-style (similar to what we have now, but more modern and maybe depicting a photo camera, or a photo symbol, or a photo book)

... and connect the two above with different traits:

c) classy (because we offer premium quality)
d) bright/dark
e) active/passive
f) colour gradient background vs. plain background

ALWAYS try to include EITHER our Pixum logo (the sun) somewhere in the app icon OR the "pixum" lettering of the logo ... or a combination of both. And preferably also AT LEAST one of our three Pixum colours, of which cyan is the most important one (#00AAFF), followed by orange (#FF6600) and grey (#727272) ... but you can also design a completely new logo alternative without our current brand colours, maybe it'll positively surprise us =)
