Courant Investment Partners
I am a private investor born and raised in Montreal Canada, who now lives in Austin TX. I once worked at a technology company called @Home Network. Since then I have been a private investor. I am now in the process of starting a value investment fund called Courant Investment Partners. I will have offices in Austin TX, SF and Montreal. The investment philosophy of the fund is making long term investments in solid companies with very defensible market positions.
The target audience will be successful individuals in CA who built technology companies. Furthermore, I will be raising funds from institutional investors in Canada. In both cases the target audience will be looking for a serious company to entrusts their funds to. I want to project an image of integrity, conservativeness, seriousness.
The website should convey what Courant Investment Partners stands for. I selected the name Courant because it is connotative of the following ...
Means informed, knowledgeable
- Same in French and English
- The New England Courant newspaper was where Benjamin Franklin first worked
- Ben Franklin is grandfather of idea of compounding interest.
The website and fonts should appeal to a professional audience of pension plans, institutional investors, while not being too staid.
The website should use relatively conservative colors that are not too vibrant. Look for winning logo awarded to Kotsev for design/colors/font.
