Monolith Software
Monolith Software provides software solutions to service providers and large enterprises, to monitor and manage large technology infrastructures.
We're a small company gaining ground in a crowded market because we try to do technology the right way, especially for large environments. People who truly understand what's required to manage complexity love us; most people, however, have never heard of us.
That is beginning to change: we are consistently winning larger, more influential customers. Recently Oracle began using Monolith to manage their global network, and the next few months promise even bigger names in terms of service providers.
We need our online presence to reflect the sophistication of our technology and our capabilities.
This project is for icons on the website featuring a new product: Monolith OnDemand. It is a SaaS implementation of our product, and will likely appeal to a very specific type of customer.
1. Product manager, marketing manager or director of operations for an MSP
2. Application Owner at a large enterprise
3. Director of operations/GM at a small or mid-size telco or service provider
Prospects are typically male, very familiar with technology, and tend to be in a big hurry. As consumers of product literature, they are generally skeptical. They have often seen highly-polished marketing mask sub-par product performance.
We are looking to convey aptitude, not attitude. Elements of the website need to reflect technological competence but not be too flashy.
Monolith OnDemand is in need of four icons and a button.

If a designer wants to submit ideas for a new product logo to create a common theme between logo and icons, we would be willing to discuss additional compensation for the logo as well.
The challenge will be to accommodate design elements from our existing software application that have been brought into the design of the website - the colors, navigation bar, and content boxes. See the attached files. The existing icons are a little garish, and lack a bit of sophistication.
