Professional Photographer from New Zealand. Book is targeted at locals and tourists visiting the wine country of Hawke's Bay in New Zealand. Tourist and cruise ship visitors buying a souvenir a photobook in the local bookshops. Locals who buy as gifts to family and friends at Xmas etc. Buyers and fans of Moana Park Winery wines.

Design Brief is for a Dust Jacket Cover for a photobook telling the story of a New Zealand Winery over a full year.
Technical - An A4 Landscape photobook with 100 pages, all in full colour. Spine width approx 15mm. Dust jacket in full colour gloss laminated front and back. 100mm flaps front and back.
Spine to have Title and Author info. Flaps will have text that I will add later. Graphics may flow around spine and into flaps.
Title: From Bud to Bottle
Sub-Title: A year in the life of a great little Hawke’s Bay winery.
Author: John Miles

Final Design to be delivered in as and unflattened Adobe InDesign or Photoshop File.  Thanks.

The book is a organised in seasons, showing through story telling spreads, the winery, the vineyards, and the winemakers throughout a full 12 months.
Not a collection pretty vineyard photos but a photojournalistic set of spreads telling the story of a working winery over the year. The cover needs to get this across.
There will be few words in the book. Just an intro to each season.
