Descripción del libro
Building Trust and Relationship at the Speed of Change addresses one of the most critical issues of our time: how people with conflicting but deeply held ‘truths’ about the world can work and talk together for the benefit of all.
Worldviews are the lenses through which we see and experience the world. They are different for each of us. Worldview Intelligence provides structures and frameworks to understand and work with multiple truths.
This book presents thoughtful, practical, and profound skills for leading in turbulent times brought to life through the personal and professional stories drawn from the experience of the authors.
Business, government, NGO and community leaders
Participants in leadership programs or leader development
People addressing issues of social justice including power and privilege, racial and gender equity and social equity
A cover that causes people to stop and pick it up or look. It's a business book and it is a relational leadership book - something that reflects these two elements. Some sort of image or imagery that captures Building Trust and Relationship - possibly reflecting the speed of change or something that represents "lenses" through which we see and experience the world. We are imagining 6 x 9 inch book. The mood is hopeful and also practical and applicable. It is full of personal and professional stories and it has many exercises/questions for readers to work with. It is like a road map or provides building blocks for working with multiple worldviews/truths. Needs to reflect a diversity of potential audiences including colour, ethnicity and culture.
Lo que debe evitarse
Avoid using an image of the world or the earth. We don't want groups of people holding hands or circles of people. Images of only white people.
